Introduction

Lots of my friends have been creating blogs and suggested that I too should make one.

I should first state what I'm a convert to so people will know just what I'm talking about. I am a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or in other words I'm Mormon. I converted to the church two and a half years ago. My family was converted as well. We all started out strong but now it is just me going to church and different activities. Even though I'm the only one going, I hope to be a strong influence to my mom.

My family is not the happiest one. My mom had just gotten married to a man that my family doesn't like. I agree with my family, he is not the best man. My stepfather and I don't get a long at all. He is very immature. He will try to get me angry just so I will get in trouble with my mom. He has six kids with four different women. I don't get along with any of them. Right now I'm the only one in the house as of children. His kids all live with their mothers. My mom has been dating this man since I was nine years old. I'm sixteen now. These years have been hard but thanks to the people who have stood by me, I have prevailed.

The church has saved me. I was always depressed before the missionaries knocked on my door. The people have given me strength I never knew I had. I have become the old me before my mom started dating. The me that would be out going and energetic. I haven't been this happy in so long! There are still some hard times but I know that my friends family and my savior and heavenly father are all helping and watching over me.
